Practical Translation is a course designed for bilingual individuals with a desire to get exposure to the world of translation. The course exposes the student to the various strategies that translators must master in order to produce a high-quality target text. This course is unlike any other in South Africa as a majority of the assignments must be completed in a second language, thereby giving the student real-world experience in translating text.
